One man band Robert Delirio brings to us some pretty bubble gummy pop punk in a European twist. Actually has that pop attitude the Ramones had, it’s fun stuff to listen to. Robert is a punk veteran from his homeland of Italy and used to play in cult hardcore band ATROX. I have never heard ATROX myself but Robert has now peeked my interest as they have 4 full lengths under their belts. Robert now living in California has created probably one of the better one man band attempts at making a punk album. I give Robert credit for his DIY ethics and by composing a worth 15 tracks about eco-friendly and social-environmental lyrics. You can order this CD from Robert’s web-site listed above and is almost avail for download for the steep price of $1.99. No that was not a typo 2 bucks gets to the entire album probably the only thing in punk worth the money in a long time.

Robert Delirio a name well known in the Italy underground scene as the bassist and a founder of Atrox - a famous Italian punk rock hardcore band. This innovative punk rocker is now livin in California and has recorded a new CD "Digital Core!" Robert is now infusing Punk Rock Hardcore with Techno and is producing some fast and furious hardcore punk music. He is using the methods normally used by the Hip Hop scene, looping, sampling, digital recording and software instruments.

This is where Punk meets Techno and the result is highly intense music and is unbelievably impressive. Digital-CORE is 15 hardcore tracks dealing with issues such as genetically modified food, global warming and the new economy impact. The punk style vocals spin out the crafty clever lyrics, the music is explosive with stompin drumbeats, contagious guitar riffs and quirky musical effects. The tunes G.M.O., Hot Heat, In the SUV, Made in China, O.G.M. and Atrox remix are the stand out tracks for me.
